Anita Schimizzi, PhD

Welcome to my practice

Dr. Schimizzi is a licensed, independent, private practice psychologist based in Chapel Hill, NC.  She treats a wide range of common problems (e.g., depression, anxiety, school problems, ADHD, adjustment issues) as well as more complex issues, such as those resulting from divorce and trauma.  The goal of Dr. Schimizzi’s work with clients is to foster emotional and behavioral health.

Dr. Schimizzi specializes in therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families.  Dr. Schimizzi also provides a variety of parent services, such as parent education and parenting coordination.  Clients may choose to receive parent education at Dr. Schimizzi’s office or in their own homes.
